Mean Girls 2

My two key takeaways from this movie:
  1. Meaghan Martin is unreasonably cute and talented.
  2. Her character's father was played by the same actor who played Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat movie.*
Anyway. I did not watch Mean Girls 2 because I am a twelve-year-old girl; I watched it because it was written by Allison Schroeder, the other winner of this year's SIE script competition, and I was curious about her previous work.

Allison's winning script, an hourlong drama titled "Atomic," is described thusly:
Scientists and their wives struggle with the gravity of their top secret work in Los Alamos and Hanford on the Manhattan Project in the 1940s.
Science in wartime? YES. I'm looking forward to seeing that at the June 15th table reading almost as much as my own script.

* Is it weird that I wanted to announce "Johnny Cage!" every time Linden Ashby appeared on screen? Don't answer that.
