Friday Flash Fiction: "Anchors Aweigh"

I'm still working on finishing that "Making Waves" short story, but I've already posted three parts of it to 512, and I don't want to spill any more. So I decided to try writing some backstory for the characters therein. Who knows? Maybe I'll turn it into a longer piece eventually.
